Portable or Skip Compactors
Portable or mobile 'Skip' Compactors are delivered and collected by Rollonoff (Roll-On-Roll-Off or RORO) vehicle. As they do not require a separate container, they are ideal where space is limited.
Allen Waste supply 35 cubic yard Portable Compactors to crush the waste as you generate it, saving on storage space and improving efficiency in waste handling.
Portable compactors can be used to achieve a volume reduction ratio of up to 5:1 on a selection of waste materials.
They can be used in manufacturing and retail situations and on building sites, as they are suitable for compacting wet waste and mixed waste.
Supermarkets and factories involved in food processing, understand the hygiene benefits gained from using enclosed Portable Compactors. They are versatile and will compact mixed waste or segregated recyclable materials such as textiles, plastics, cardboard etc. They can also be used on building sites. (They are NOT suitable for rubble/soil.)
Static Compactors
Allen Waste supply Static Compactors to commercial sites. Designed for heavy industrial use, they can handle large volumes of waste that is being produced on a regular basis.
Static Compactors are used in conjunction with 40 cubic yard waste containers. When full, waste containers are collected by Rollonoff vehicle and taken to the transfer station for emptying. Replacement empty containers are delivered to site, ensuring a continuous service in waste collection and disposal.
Static compactors can be used to achieve a volume reduction ratio of up to 5:1 on a selection of waste materials. They are usually used by large factories and building sites. Statics are suitable for segregated recyclable materials such as timber, lightweight packaging, commercial and industrial waste and green garden waste. (They are NOT suitable for rubble/soil.)
Balers – Effective compaction of light, bulky waste BEFORE recycling
Allen Waste will supply you with one or more balers on a hire basis and with a collection service worked out to suit your needs.
Our Balers will convert your waste cardboard, paper and packaging material into neat, dense, space-saving bales.
The resulting uniform compacted material is smaller and much easier to handle. This reduces transport costs as compacted bales can be collected much less frequently than loose, irregular bundles of waste materials.
Balers reduce the bulk of materials and make them more suitable for recycling. Compacted recyclable waste is transported cost effectively to processing plants. Once there, it takes up much less storage space then uncompacted material.
